Envision measures sustainability similar to LEED, but for any type of infrastructure project. Use of this framework quantifies a project’s social, environmental, and economic impacts – and credentialed ENV SPs can submit their projects for awards at a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum level to recognize high performing projects.
Rachael Keish and Morgan Abbett, ISI approved Envision Trainers, will equip participants to take the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) accreditation exam, so you can submit your projects for the prestigious awards. The in-person workshop costs are comparable to ISI’s webinar training course, but with interactive exercises, case studies, and group discussions to enrich the experience.

Sustainability in the built environment is often framed as a race to zero: zero waste, net-zero energy, water, etc. This work is crucial for reducing environmental impacts and achieving climate mitigation goals. Going one step further, there are additional social, environmental, and economic impacts to consider that can maximize a project’s long-term value to the environment and society.
Envision is a framework that encourages systemic changes in the planning, design and delivery of sustainable and resilient infrastructure. It evaluates the community, environmental, and economic benefits of all types and sizes of infrastructure projects. The framework recognizes projects that use transformational, collaborative approaches to achieve sustainable performance goals over the course of the project’s life cycle.
