ISI Envision Training

The Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) Envision training encourages systemic changes in the planning, design, and delivery of sustainable, resilient, and equitable civil infrastructure through education, training, and third-party project verification. Envision provides a consistent, consensus-based framework for assessing sustainability, resiliency, and equity in civil infrastructure.

Similar to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED certification program, Envision™ is a certification program for infrastructure and non-building-specific projects, such as highways, sewer systems, transit projects, bridges, utilities, fish hatcheries, etc. As the SCJ Alliance characterizes this certification program, “It is intended to improve green building practices and encourage projects to invest in strategies that reduce impact and have a positive effect on their surroundings.”

Envision training can help infrastructure owners, design teams, community groups, environmental organizations, constructors, regulators, and policy makers meet their sustainability goals, collaborate, be publicly recognized for their accomplishments, and make investment and resource decisions.
