Bay Area Toll Authority, FasTrak, Santa Clara and Alameda County, CA

Rachael was the Resident Engineer for the $4 million Dumbarton and San Mateo-Hayward bridges toll plaza improvement project, which included upgrades to the toll plaza and installing changeable message signs to improve toll operations. The project also included converting toll lanes into FasTrak lanes. She was responsible for all day-to-day management activities on the construction project, including coordinating with the client, design team, local agencies and construction contractor. She was also responsible for the financial management, scheduling and overall monitoring of the project to ensure compliance with the client’s needs and project goals, including a three month acceleration of the new FasTrak lane opening for the Dumbarton Bridge.
