Watersheds Asset Rehabilitation Project (WARP): Stevens Creek Erosion Repair

This $1.1 million Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) Maintenance Project rehabilitated approximately 250 linear feet of damaged in-channel levee to repair structural integrity and establish flood capacity within Stevens Creek. The purpose of this maintenance project was to remediate the severe damage caused by previous flooding from a high rain event.

Keish Environmental provided Strom Water Pollution Prevention (SWPPP) services for this capitol project. Keish Environmental staff provided support in developing the BMP Action Plan and ensuring the owner and SCVWD were aware of the site’s specific needs for proper BMP implementation. Staff provided in-field SWPPP and BMP training for owner, contractors, and SCVWD to ensure compliance. Staff ensured BMPs provided adequate track-out control across all three project access points and ensured that existing vegetation was maintained throughout project duration. Staff provided oversight of stream diversion plans, including equipment fitted with fish screens.
